1974 CB750 - Front Brake Hose Guide
« on: October 14, 2016, 03:57:21 PM »
I am getting ready to install my front brake setup from wheel to handlebars. I have everything but the brake hose guide which is number 8 in the attached picture. I tried to order one with my latest parts order but was advised they are no longer available. So, is this part crucial to the setup or can I get away with not having one ? Is it mounted between the triple tree and the 3 way joint ?

If it is definitely needed, does anyone have a spare I could buy from them ?

Thanks,
Jon

It's not crucial.  When you tighten the fitting be sure to hold the arm to the bolt in roughly the same position the "keeper" would hold it.  It should stay in this position after the banjo bolt is tight.
