Will Never sell my K6 but added this fine machine to the family.  1140cc - 6 piston front ABS linked brakes has fantastic stopping power

Helluva job! Now you gotta give us the build low down.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

Wow, $2,400 for the exhaust. That makes the Yamiya replacement HM340's look like a bargain.

Nice bike, but why anyone would spend $11K to make it look like a CB750 is beyond me. Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Honda should have made it that way from the factory if they wanted a retro throwback bike to pay homage to the classic 750. May have sold better for them also.

It's funny, Im not a big fan of perfectly restored 750's, but the throwback look of your 1100 is beautiful. Honda 100% should have made the bike just like that!

Nope,it's a DOHC 1100. How could that be a tribute to an SOHC 750? That's like saying a Chev is a tribute to a Dodge............ ;D

already owning a minty K6 there was no other direction for me to go.
I wanted something more modern for longer rides with larger bikes and like the CB1100's big fuel injected super smooth engine that has more torque at 2K than the Kaw Z900 had at any RPM plus faster in the 1/4 mile.
some like it and some hate it but the ride is almost Goldwing Smooth and the Linked ABS brakes are 2nd to none.
Best of all it is a Honda

As sold, except for the tail light the 1100 is a throwback to the DOHC CB750F/900F/1100F models.

Lot's of reviewers tried to tie it to the original SOHC4 CB750's, but all of us here know that is incorrect.

I do like the kit used on the OP's bike, but the cost is just too much. You can get a nice K6 for what the pipes alone on that bike cost.
