Sunny Naples Fla 74 cb750.
« on: November 09, 2016, 08:20:23 AM »
Hi All,
Just an old Airborne Soldier who is reliving my youth again.  Had a 1974 CB750 when I lived in Vicenza Italy as a 19yo paratrooper.  It was a European model for low key endurance racing, lowered slightly, ceramic short pipe, slightly bored over, new gears etc, faster with slight suspension mods.  I thrashed it for 3 years all over the continent, then it was totalled on a test ride, the rider also was totalled.  I owned many bikes since, became a dad etc...   Kids all growing up and found a lovely basket case 1974 CB750.  I put it back on together by  paying a mechanic to do it in a timely manner.  I forgot how much I love that sound, the pull, the #$%*ty suspension like a marshmallow...   Happy again looking like an old, slow, fool with much noise and fury!!!
