Daryl's bike from the walking dead
« on: November 15, 2016, 04:22:20 PM »
Long story behind this one.. Nuts and bolts is I need a cool ride to hit the salt flats with my buddies bike which is a pimped out S1000RR.. His bike is a beauty!  Thought about it.. thought about it.. what's the coolest bike I could build that would work to run around with the S1000RR?  Daryl's bike of course and off I went.. took about 2 months to get to where it is now.. Still have a few odds and ends that need to be buttoned up but every part on this bike is the actual one used on the show bikes built by Classified Moto..

Picked up a SOHC '77 CB750 and a Harley '54 Servicar for winter projects.. can't wait to start wrenching on the '77!  Looking forward to the info on the bike from the forum, cheers!

Havent figured out how in the world to make pics work on this forum but till then you can check out the bike on my instagram site.. I'm also a photographer so have to bear with that occasionally!

It's a '54 with the 45ci... want to start putting that together but found a '77 SOHC to play with.. Parts chasing on that '54 cost's more than I bargained for to hunt down parts.. as much as peeps hate it I'm going to change out the powerplant.. something with a little more oomph..   Also plan on getting a black anodized front end from late model R6.. it'll be an interesting build for sure!

CBX, s look great in trikes...  Get three Webers for. The 6 and avoid the carb pains.

Damn! Haven't run across one of those at all.. love the pipe action on the CBX's..  I'll have to keep my eyes out.. that 45 takes up very little room.. tiny! I was thinking hi revving R6 or R1 donor but that is interesting!

Scrounging parts now for the '77.. R6 front gold front end, VFR single sided swing arm.. probably overkill but it will be something to look at once she's done!
