Howdy from Texas
« on: January 10, 2017, 02:40:42 PM »
Greetings y'all, my name is Hans and I'm in Austin TX - long time lurker stepping out of the shadows. This forum has been a huge asset to me and I'm thankful for the wealth of information that gets shared. Up to now i've repaired and tweaked things on my 76 550F and a few non-Hondas that I've since sold off. Last year i bought my first new vehicle ever '16 Yamaha XSR900. I'm currently working on a '66 Honda C110 Sport Cub and collecting parts for a CB550 Tracy body build <---- scored some Henry Abe wheels for that from this very forum, thank you (will get a thread going when that kicks off).

not sure if these photos will show up but here goes
Here's my 550F

500/550 Tracy Body - it's been posted on this forum before, had some checkered decals the PO ripped off

Welcome from Lake Travis!    I also have a 550F....

Did you get the Tracy from a guy in San Antonio?

Let me know if you want to ride some great roads out this way!

thanks y'all! Steve, love that 550F- always down for a spin and love the roads out west. And yes, the Tracy came from a guy down in San Antonio sold on ebay. Before that it was in the DFW area, i saw a few photos of it on DTT while digging around for more photos of that body style.

I saw the Tracy on Craigslist last year, he had a bunch of parts for sale and wanted to sell as a lot.

Let me know when you want to race!
