Posed pic of my '69 Ct-90 with a Lifan 125cc motor. I bought it after it had been in a 24 hr, challenge. Rode non stop for 20 of the 24 hrs with over a 1000 miles before the clutch gave out. Fixed the clutch and it runs great! Now retired at my house, only runs up nd down to the pub every week !

That was my first Honda! It was the one with the push-back large rear sprocket and short extra chain length in the toolkit so you could gear it high (60 MPH) or low (35 MPH) for street/trail riding. That poor thing...it never got an oil change from anyone on the farm, but managed to live over 15 years, hauling deer out of the woods, hauling as many as 4 of us kids at a time, drowned in various ponds and creeks, dragged out and dumped out, to ride again.

About 5 years ago a guy near here found one and brought it to me to be resto-ed enough to ride it to work. He had me put a Transistor Ignition on it, too, so he wouldn't have to tune it up much, just change oil now and then. Those bikes are just. plain. tough.!

yes small Hondas is solid and fun..have a cd 50 and a amigo..vho need some Work..both 50 cc..

That was the first motorcycle I had out on the road past 50mph also.I 'borrowed' it when i was 12-13 out of the carport from my dad a lot  after hot-wiring the ign. underneath the top-tube silver frame cover.The one I ran around on then would almost do 59mph w/ me lying down 'flat back'.  :)

I have two of these still with the 90 CC motors and dual range transmission - eight gears, actually.  They could nearly climb the garage door . . . at 1 mph and 6000 rpm. 

  More seriously, I have been on somebody else's CT out in California on a 40 degree hill and it climbed it.  I was utterly amazed but made it to the top of that hill using internal combustion . . . no human power at all.

Was also my first Honda. Loved it.  After many years finally got another one that I still have. Very simple and almost impossible to break.
