I adjusted the ignition today. It worked fine But engine has been apart and I installed plate according to marker pen marks.
Timing light showed 1-4 Ok F at idle, but 2-3 were too early.
I faced same "problem" as many others, I could not adjsyt 2-3 point enough to the right (later)
I found that the radial gap for 2-3 point could make a little by forcing the 2-3 point outwards.
The final solution was point gap. Started with 1-4 that was too small gap. 27-28 degrees (8cyl setting) adjusted to 23.2.
This allowed 2-3 to set F correctly at idle. Adjusted the dwell for 2-3 to 23.3 degrees.
Final check with timing light and all good.
Dwell different since I have mounted the condensers? Last setting was without. (Hondaman ign module can run without)
As usual, the points need some fiddling around to find the setting. Mostly solve the ign plate with not enough groove.
