Thanks Rick. B52, it was in some sun when I took those pics.  Not beaming bright sunlight, but sunlight still. They really ( candies ) get effected by sunlight. The last pic I just added is in natural light, but under a roof.

Are you using a gold base or a silver base mate? To my knowledge, Honda only used a silver base under all their candies. Cheers, Terry. ;D

Terry , if you look at the first three pics, you will see silver to the right. That area is ready for my second try.. But I have mixed any more up.

No worries mate, it looks really good, although lighter than OEM? My experience from spraying candy is that the more coats of translucent color you put down, the darker it becomes, so maybe another coat? Cheers, Terry. ;D

I was thinking a tad light too. I think I will adjust the mix a bit and try that, then adjust coats. There are 6 in the picture you see.

Today's attempt is MUCH too green.Tomorrow I want to split the difference exactly. I will mix equal amounts of both samples together and spray that.

That's right mate, one candy I sprayed, the silver base was so brilliant I just wanted to clear over it and not put a color down! ;D

I vote for number 3. Looks very nice but as you might have already guessed,  I'm easy to please when it comes to paint.

In person it is slightly yellower than it looks in the pic . .which is a good thing. I believe the OEM paint has a yellow undertone to it.

But maybe the correct hue is in between the 1st and 3rd sample?
