Here is a chrome rear fender that is being adapted to my F. I am using a totally different tail light, so all the normal holes were welded and new ones drilled. as well as a relief dent added. Some bumping was needed to get the profile of the fender to match that of the light.

Welding completed, reshaping completed, filler work done and primed.First epoxy, then a load of polyester primer. I will block and paint it next.

Yes that is a sand bag and mallet. To be honest, I also used my body hammer as well with the bag to get some shape in the fender I needed. I will paint the fender tomorrow if I can.I wanted to see how the paint looked, so . . .
I painted the tail light I am using with my candy concoction. This is inside in my booth with , obviously, not natural lighting. I tweaked the paint formula just a tad and I think I am happy.

Weird reflections in it make the side look a bit off, but all is good  :) It's my rendition of Candy Jade Green.

Outside shot, totally overcast, no sun to make the yellowish hue pop.

Next I started the tank. It needed to be stripped of it 's paint and filler. Right side not bad, left side has a couple bad dents. No attempt was made to remove the dent, so the dent and crown were filled over . . tisk tisk tisk. At least guys, if you are not going to pull a dent, then hammer the crown down so you don't need so much filler. Also found these numbers at the rear. Date? identification?  4H01

Definitely on the more brilliant side. I like the way it pops.  You'll likely want something to contrast it with -- stripe decals, etc.
