1979 Honda XL100s issues
« on: June 06, 2017, 06:07:59 PM »
Need some help diagnosing a problem. Bike starts, runs and as I ride it around the block and come to a stop, it dies. If I'm still rolling and pop the clutch it will run. Once the clutch is squeezed, it dies. Sometimes it will start right up again, sometimes it won't. I'm thinking it is a spark issue.

Not sure exactly what is was, but pulled the carb and gave it a good cleaning. Seems to be running like a champ again. Thanks.

My cl100 had a plugged gas cap vent. It acted like that.
