CB 750 F2 Drive chain length
« on: June 26, 2017, 05:50:36 AM »
Hey everyone!

I need a new chain for my CB750 F2. Now, I'm not sure what the right length / how many chain links it has.

I thought the number of chain links was 88 but the last chain I bought was way too short (about 15cm).

Can anyone help me out here? The Bike is stock by the way.. No modified gear.

Thanks a lot

Noah

Stock for the F2 and F3 is 88 links of 630 Chain with a 14T front sprocket and 43T rear sprocket.

Straight out of the parts Fiche.

Sounds like you bike has been modified.

If its a 530 chain, count the links on your old chain for a renewal fit.

Thanks a lot! Yeah thats what i thought. No, the Bike is definetly stock with the 14 & 43 T sprockets..

Maybe it was just a production mistake of the chain.. did't actually count the links, I sent it right back.

Good to know that its supposed to be 88 links!

Sure that rear wheel axis was in most front position in the swing arm?
