Hello SOHC4.net members,
New owner of a 1977 CB550k, Excel black, 11,000 miles, very good condition but needs tires (17 years old), chain and sprockets, and carb clean / sync.
My plan for this bike is to: Short term, get it running perfectly; long term, update wheel and steering bearings, swing-arm bushings, shocks, springs, etc.
Sixty-three year old retired structural engineer, CA native, now in DFW area and darned happy to be here.
First bike was a 1971 SL350, latest before the CB550 is a 2003 Stella scooter (150cc 2T).
