+1 - all jets should be the same size (and Keihins)

If you are jetted properly, it should feel like it wants to continue to pull through redline in each and every gear.

Yeah I still have to put an order in, is it worth ordering half steps? 118/123? I'm just going to order a bunch for future mods so I don't have to pay for shipping/wait on them later. Thinking of 105/110/115/120/125/130. Not sure if I should do half steps or not

I would bet the majority of us here in the US do 99% of our riding at, or under 2/3 throttle, so I just dont see the need to be that exact with mains.
As long as you are not white lean, you're fine...

Thanks, agreed, only time I see myself going WOT are during on ramps. I'll put an order in for the full steps

I also noticed from the parts finder that there is a spring in the A/F idle mixture screw, I don't have any springs in mine 657A carbs. I also can't seem to locate the spring part # but have seen them in full carb rebuild kits. How important are these springs?

I would think they apply enough pressure to prevent the screw from spinning out with bike vibrations.

In case anyone stumbles upon this same issue here was my solution

Reason it wouldn't rev passed 5k is because the main jets fell out into the bowl after the last time I rechecked figured from only tightening them up with my fingers in fear of stripping.
