Wow, I've often wondered if I just linished off the folded ends of a K1 fender and had it re-chromed, would anyone really notice? Luckily I only need a "single cut" fender for my K0, and I've got one............ ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

I think anyone could rechrome a fender,and maybe modify a k2 or earlier fender so you could not tell,crazy price for a fender.bill
