starter clutch removal ?'s
« on: December 20, 2006, 06:21:17 AM »
has anyone made a spacer to go between the case and the alt. so they could remove starter clutch.  Also is the shaft that the idler gear between the starter and the clutch sits on used to align the alt cover, in lieu of a second dowel pin?

You dont need any spacers. The rotor fits onto a taper. undo the allen bolts and remove the starter parts then re-fit rotor.
