One of the Cafe Sites, the one in Tennessee, that I posted was started I believe by Bud Turner.
He died of a motorcycle accident right after Thanksgiving.
This was posted on a site I happened upon,
"Charles was from the "Old School" but embraced anything interesting. He raced Autocross in the sixties and was succesfull. He campaigned a Ducati 750 in the 80's and had a lot of fun. He loved Ducatis and couldn't understand why everyone didn't. He passed away several days ago after complications from an accident on his beloved 900SS. His best friend, and one who I'm proud to call a friend, created this Urn for his eternal rest. He worked day and night for 4 days to have it ready for his family's visitation and "Celebration of Life" gathering last night. Truly an amazing work of art. My friend that introduced Bud and I many years ago walked by and said "He spent most of the last 20 yrs. inside one of those motors, it's only fitting that he should rest eternal in one". Well said, my friend, well said. Godspeed Buddy!"
