What's a fair price? Engine, exhaust, carbs
« on: August 06, 2017, 02:25:45 PM »
Decided to sell my '78 550 motor, carbs and exhaust. Motor ran great without leaks. Only reason it's not in my bike is because I swapped it for a 650 motor.

What's a fair price for the complete system? Or do you think it would be best to split it up? Probably going to sell locally on Craigslist.

Ebay values would be something like

Crabs - $200
Ingen - $300
Mufflurs - $250

Depending on your local market demand and spelling ability, prices could change.

Mmmm, crabs. I should have said the exhaust is a 4-1 with a reverse cone from Cone Engineering. Not the stock system which would go for higher. But ok, that seems fair enough and similar to my assumption. Thanks Bomber
