That one in the picture is an 1100,not sure but it may be a shaftie drive.
Oh well, I DO need new glasses. Misread the 1100 for 1000....
It's a G so it's a shaft drive. I have an 81 1100G in garage now getting worked over.

When you get back from your trip let me know how your 1980 GS1000 ever turned out. I read your thread recently while working on my 79 Gs1000 but it ended with you going to Switzerland.
