Biggest problem with remote gauges is the ability to see them while riding. Once you know what "normal" temp and or pressure are, then you need to learn what affects it has when running high temp or low pressure. As well as the things that factor into those readings and their effect on the motor performance. Then the subject of how to lower temps and raise pressure need to be learned.
I like electrical gauges, they tend to be more reliable when you buy good quality devices.
