I wanted everyone to know that I finally fixed the lean running/accelerator pump/ leaky carbs issue. So, original dirty set of carbs that came on the bike when I bought it leaked like crazy. I could NOT figure it out, no matter how many times I took them apart, checked floats, blah blah. So, I ordered a refurbished set of carbs from an F model. They idled great but ran awful because the accelerator pump is not working (I will fix this later).
Turns out, my original set only had one tiny little issue that I couldn’t see. The linkage tube running from #2-#3 had a big rip in it that made it look like #3 or #4 were leaking depending on how the bike was tilted and making #1 legit overflow.
Moral of the story: check every millimeter of your carbs before buying stuff that may or may not work.
