Cheers!
« on: December 02, 2017, 11:44:34 AM »
Whats up gang? Greetings from Georgia, US. After a few years wishing and drooling I finally picked up a '77 CB550 a couple days ago. She's a little rough around the edges but doesn't look like she'll be too hard to get fired up. Completing her as my minimalist brat dreambike will, on the other hand, be quite a challenge for this newbie. This will be my first time breathing life into one of these old beauties, and I am looking forward to browsing everyone's builds for some education and inspiration.

Cheers!

Hello from MN,

As a fellow 550 owner, I encourage you not to under estimate these bikes.  They can handle gravel roads and be ridden over a 1000 miles in a day.
