I restored one a couple years ago for a customer. Scrambler version but basically the same bike. I suggested running pre-mix rather than use the injector, customer agreed and used the bike for a couple months and then sold it for something like 1500.
l checked compression, cleaned carbs and points, set timing, pre-mixed with Blendzall and it fired right up-that is after many hours cleaning. Had to replace wire harness after a hot wire in the headlight shell shorted to ground
