Wheel offset?
« on: January 23, 2018, 11:02:24 PM »
Hi,
I've started a CB450 project, and the rear wheel is off-center by at least an inch.  Manuals and interwebs have not been helpful...  Can someone advise whether this image looks accurate?
Thanks in advance,
Garth

Looks like the wrong wheel spacers. Especially the right side one.

The image does not look accurate.

Appears the chain is running at an angle.  You might have the spacers swapped, or as mentioned above the wrong spacers altogether. I would start by making sure the chain is tracking straight and smooth on the sprockets, determine what the length of the spacers should be for proper alignment.

Later, Bud...

Thanks for the replies, and the link.  Since the whole rear end needs to be rebuilt, I'll look at simply replacing all of the spacers to make sure I have the right ones, check alignment, etc.  I appreciate the input!
