I'm going to wait until 2019 for Kentucky and Blue Ridge Parkway.  Poor Dash is still down for the count (I beat the hell out of him riding across country last year)..  Have to take the engine out and shipping it to Mark in Colorado for a proper engine repair.  Was going to ride my Suzuki to Kentucky this year but never got around to planning it.  So working on it for 2019.
Jerry and others who were interested in a Kentucky meet up I will be ready next year.
where at in KY?

I.second that question.

Where would you like and is it a weekend or Friday Sat event?
Originally they were talking Paducah area , Land Between The Lakes national(?) park.  But, Jerry is in the Virgin Islands so that opens the floor to other areas and where would be most convenient?

I have friends in Louisville and in Indiana (Kentuckyana I think they call that :))  So I stop there then was going to ride over to the Blue Ridge.  Now thinking it may not be until 2020 as my CA friends want to ride to Yellowstone and other National parks in 2019.  Its up in the air.  But if it is not 2019 then it will 100% be 2020.  I don't know how often I really want to be riding cross country and I'm not getting any younger!

Do it while you are still young Mooshie. It only gets worse as arthritis and deterioration of joints or old injuries seek their revenge.

Imagine the Suzi will be very different from Dash. You found Dash comfortable, else you would not have ridden him so much. Is the Suzuki new or used?

I have a KY state park brochure showing those that have campgrounds.
We sticking with Paducah and Land Between the Lakes Recreation Area?

How many want to go get together for a weekend this year?

Cumberland Falls near Corbin KY is beautiful and a moon bow can be seen many full moon light nights...

Many parks with campgrounds also have cottages at unknown price at this point.

Or is '18 more suited to a regional ride.  Where is Godzilla?
I have a Taco Bell dog calling, Here Lizard Lizard. But, no answer yet.
