My car club "overhauled" a 67 Chevelle for a guy in the hospital, we nabbed it from his garage and finished it so it could be waiting outside to surprise him when he was released to return home. What I remember about the car was the multiple colors of marina blue inside it, even new repro parts from the same vendor weren't the same blue. SS396, turbo 400, 12 bolt posi.
The car was stunning in spite of that. He passed away within the year but at least got to enjoy the car during the time he had left. The car was intended to stay in the family and go to one of the kids, his truck to the other kid. I don't know how that worked out, hopefully they were able to keep them.
