Looks like an interesting project. Are you going to keep that knobby rear tire?  ;D

What direction are you going? Chopper, Cafe, Restore? Looks like a solid base for any choice.

Have the old girl stripped down (no not the wife) will be getting a water pressure washer and some paint stripper next week and will start on the frame paint work it will be a home job worst that can happen is I stuff it up and have to start again not a lot lost and a new experience gained. Have the top end of motor apart all looks quite good will take it to a engine rebuilder to check barrel and piston wear as I don't have the equipment to see if we need a rebore. Will see how the paint comes out in a couple of weeks will post a photo of the frame when painted here is one of her now all bare as.
Thanks for reading Dave

Finally got a small job done on the bike repaired the cracks in the seat pan and painted then replaced the broken tabs on the pan with the furniture spikes  to fix the new cover used the old foam as it is in reasonable condition over all didn't come up to bad. Currently started to do seals in forks but run into more problems with internal parts missing thanks to POs.
