In the pic sorry for the low light, it was dark when I finish, Would the tab needs to go in the little channel in top of oli filter box? It looks like it is not leaking, but I wonder if I should tighten more.

Yes, the tab should fit cleanly into the channel. But just because it is off center a little doesn't mean the housing isn't seated

back off the bolt and jiggle it square as you hold it and retighten the bolt,i like em squared up,if it aint leaking itll be ok though,you only need to crush the o ring plus a little,they aint wheel nuts!
