Regulator rectifier help

It’s looks like the last hurdle amongst many is the charging system
On my turbo, yes it’s been sitting sense last November
With other issues (had the turbo rebuilt with NEW seals)
New waist gate etc etc.
I have ordered two solid state reg/recto from Electrex
In England and they are two different types
Does anyone have the right part numbers or what
Systems are out there for these bikes
As always, you guys are the best and happy fourth to all

Hi Jim. Do you mean you bought two RRs from them, and neither was correct for your bike? Looking at their site, it appears RR24 would be the correct one? Rick's and Oregon Motorcycle Parts also have solid state RRs for our bikes.

Yes they sent two R24/(at least the box read R24 but there
Was 2 different parts. Just trying to figure out where the black and white wires go
I’ll check out the other Supplyer and let you know

The black reg wire plugs into the black wire from the harness, and the white reg wire plugs into the white wire from the harness. If there is a loose green wire from the reg, it should be plugged into the green wire from the harness, assuming you are talking about a stock harness.

Jim, along the way they changed their RR24. One was the ESR240. The older one looked rather archiac vs the more modern one. Kinda looked like a large heat sink filled with epoxy. I have a receipt from 2010 but no instructions.

Wish I still had the stock harness but
David fletcher re wired the intire bike for the
New ignition system
And David has sense moved to Florida
I’ll get it figured out and I am sure I can call David
And talk to him

In that case, the black reg wire connects to the ignition switch: 12v with the key on.
The white reg wire connects to the while field coil wire that comes out from the alternator cover.
The green field coil wire is connected to frame ground/battery -.
