Hi All! Chicago headed to Asheville, NC

Just joined the forum as I am a proud new owner of a ‘77 CB750K. Since my days riding small Honda’s in the 80s as a youngster I’ve wanted one of these. ‘77 is the year I was born and I’m proud to have a bike as old as I am! Most of my experience in my adult years has been with Triumphs, and my daily drive is a 2015 Triumph Speedmaster that i have highly customized to my liking. I have big plans for the ‘77 CB750 and I know this site will be a tremendous help in my quest to make this the ideal cafe/brat I’ve wanted for years. I live in Chicago now but I’m moving to Asheville, NC in August so I look forward to learning more here and taking on this build as my first “winter” project in a warmer climate. Let me know if you are in the area, I would love to meet up!

You'll really enjoy the roads in the Asheville area on your bikes. Far nicer riding than IL and especially, Chicago  ;D
