new oil milky?
« on: September 03, 2018, 11:55:32 PM »
Valvoline 20W50 4 stroke motorcycle oil, it's been around a while but new in the bottle. It appears milky, almost white and even seemed to have a clot in it. It was in the funnel and through to the motor before I could catch it. My brothers bike and oil, I need to ask where it was stored, maybe in a lake?
Of course I'll drain it but has anyone else seen this?

Alcohol dragster guys would heat it and cook the moisture out. My buddy uses a nitrous bottle heater with a cloth over the top of the jug until the oil is clear again but he's cooking out more alcohol than moisture.

No matter how many times you paint over a shadow, it's still there.
