Thanks Richard, hopefully I won't have to make that call expect to tell you we're okay down here.

Hard to say what will happen at this point. The projected path puts landfall above us in NC but once it hits shore, the track shows a turn into central SC. Right down my lane-  :'(. 2 hours from the coast line may not be far enough to blunt the force of the wind but we will also see significant rain. The other problem could be tornados spawning off and that's never good.

They are forecasting it may weaken but that is not the only threat.  That area may receive 20" of rain  similar to Harvey in Houston last year.  That will be devastating.

Who else is in the path?
