If it weren't for the winter heating bill.  I'd be drinking until im able to understand a few things.

That said, I could probably shut the heat off and start drinking until ai don't feel cold anymore.

Oh be careful, sounds like a bad star trek episode there.

I'm changing my major to Beer.  Because alcohol is a solution!

Signs I must be getting older.
Aside from the looming calendar date.  I seem to be turning into my dad.
There's a teenager on a motorbike who would be wise to slow down and smell the roses.
Oh to be 10 feet tall and bulletproof again.
Don't know if he realizes the impound yard here doesn't award any trophies.
He will learn why the old bulls walk pretty soon I reckon.

I dont take kindly to speeders on my residential street!  There are some kids on the next block that occasionally drive too fast in front of the house in their ATV four wheeler. I may pay their parents a visit one day or buzz back and forth on my Honda and see how they like it?!!!!

couple of streets up from me is a main(ish) road that used to be busy until they put the freeway in a bit further north of it so at night its pretty much dead, every night i can hear mostly cars lining up and racing, occasionally bikes. does the heart good to hear youthful impetuosity. the side of the road they use is all industrial so less chance of unexpected cars popping out of a driveway

just very occasionally you'll hear something very serious fire up ( as opposed to approach in traffic ) and pull what would be a 7 or 8 second quarter on the strip, it'll immediately shut down and disappear. i'm guessing its some proper race guys using the road as a test strip and they have the trailer already parked at the other end
i blame Terry

Out here there's some local pride in being the filming location of *street outlaws* on tv.
Somewhere deep in a corn field i came across one such location.
A pile of ash and coal on both sides of the road.  Four burnout strips in the lanes.  And a bridge about a 1/4 mile away.
Proper place for putting pedal to the metal.
