We had a very good day today. I bought another bike for an incredible deal.  :o 8) I have to go play the lottery I think... this has been my lucky week for good deals off of craigslist.  ;D

I really wish we had gotten drunk last night. I didn't sleep worth a damm and could have used a good knock out concoction. Only had 2 Mojitos in the place. Who is in charge of buying the alcohol around here, anyway??? (oop, that would be me. :-\)

Well off to pick up the bike and bring it home. I have a MC trailer today. ;D Would have ridden it home but the PO exwife slashed them...  :o Hence the need for tires.

as far as removing entire conversations, that is not at all what i wanted,   it was just that once the reality of the situation set in, i felt it best to "censor" my posts not remove them,   it doesn't bother me at all what you wrote heff, i was merely removing stuff that I wrote

and i think X was just trying to get people to remove certain quotes from me.   i'm all for (as you my know) airing my dirty laundry , but in this case the dirty laundry isn't all mine

*sneaks in under the radar*... Long story on the history of the bike. Found it on craigslist. Wasn't looking for this kind. Was scoping for an old Honda to mess w/ over the winter. Saw a small ad, no pic, called to get info, see if it was a typo (it wasn't  8)) and rushed down to Albany from Portland yesterday afternoon. First cash got it. Another guy had just looked at it but couldn't get the cash till Monday. We scored on a 2006 Harley Sportster 883 for $2900!!! Due to an exwife rage, it needs new tires (slashed), a batt cover (gone), oil dipstick (gone. got one w/temp gauge today) and an ignition/key (she cut the wires and took it). I'm wondering what a person has to do to make someone that mad?  :o Needs a few other small things like a bolt where the ignition/tank was secured, but nothing major. Needs a clean up and prolly oil change, all filters changed.


Just to make this shameless... who in their right minds would want to be a mall santa these days? The kids are all overweight brats who have their own cell phones and order their parents around. IMO, the parents ought to get smacked ...

Ever read or heard The SantaLand Diaries by David Sedaris?  It's one of the funniest things I've ever read.  The essay is in both Barrel Fever and Holidays on Ice.  I would recommend it this holiday season. ;)
