Topic: Parts needed for electric start

Hi,

My cb350f only has a kickstart. I've tried researching myself, but I'm still not sure of what parts I'll need to have an electric start added so that I'll have a kill switch and won't have to kickstart every time. Can you help me out?

*Obviously new to motorcycles, but learning along the way.

You need a starter motor and starter solenoid. As long as the stock harness is still in place all wiring should still be there.

The solenoid may still be on the bike. It is a cylinder about 3 inches tall located under the left side cover. The positive wire from the battery will run to one of 2 screw terminals on the top of the solenoid, a heavy wire from the alternator will connect to the other terminal.
