Photoshop I did to see what the bike would look like with stock fork length. Still looks cool.

I'm looking into replacing the tubes because the #$%*ty "chrome" is peeling. I went for my first ride without any fork oil and it was too bouncy. Right now I'm looking at either getting stock (and then maybe slowly converting to stock one day) or there is a nice set of 6" over forks by frank on ebay right now. I'm pretty sure my forks are at least 10 over if not 12.

If I do go stock I need to get a stock sidestand as well.

I might have a side stand somewhere. I used an 86' Honda Nighthawk S stand on my 550, it works better with the different peg position. Let me know.

I ordered a set of stock length forks. For now I'll keep the seat and sissy bar cause my girlfriend likes it. I'll keep the headlight and handlebars for now. may change the handlebars to something more practical along the way.

Kelly, I'd buy a sidestand from you.

I pm'd you my number. I found the kickstand and it was kinda crusty so I threw it in the blast cabinet and gave it a fresh coat of MRO primer and black paint. It looks like a new one. Let me know when you want to come get it. I also have a coat you can try on, not as nice as the last one but it is leather.

Not sure what's next. I want to build a 550 chopper on a plunger frame. A nice plunger frame is proving hard to find so far so I'm hoping to find one already built and tear it down.
