I think deep trays that you can see defeat the purpose so the seat will concave a little to accommodate the m-unit. Starter solenoid might go under the cafe seat hump with the battery.

Yeah I can agree with you, mines definitely a bit deep but the location between the 2 rear most tubes and taillight hide it at least.
I couldnt get the solenoid and battery underneath my hump in any practical way

Im ready to buy a Hindle exhaust. Just wondering if there are are any pics of the 16" muffler? Or does anyone have one?  Dave's bike with the 12" looks great.

Made a splash guard for the m-unit and starter solenoid.
Also picked the wheels up. Need tyres now!

Wow the the black textured on your parts looks great. I have to buy a pound of that powder I always think wrinkle with the deep texture would be a pain but that looks very cleanable . Your fabrication is awesome nice bike.

Textured is fine to clean. It's not rough as such, and not like ripple paint.

And I'm back. Busy year and I was not not out a job, infact teaching online was just more work.... I have been doing more woodwork stuff this year, but little bits of the bike too. I spent a few half days polishing the hindle. Polished on the left only:

The small things I have done over the last 9 mths: sorted headlight brackets, chrome plated a heap of bolts, polished side covers, sorted m-unit wiring and ignition, bought a better sandblasting unit to prep small parts for paint, ordered bolts and bits and pieces, bought some nice yss adjustable rear shocks.

Hey Dave! I spent about 16 hours on the pipes, I think. The seat on there is from my CB450t but this one will be similar.
