Topic: 550F Seat Question

My son had this seat on his '77 CB550 until he sold the bike a couple of months ago. 



The new owner wanted the stock seat, so we swapped it back over.  This came from a 550F, but I'm not sure if all years had the same pattern in the vinyl.  Can anyone tell me?  We have no use for it, so it will be put up for sale soon.  I'm sure they all interchange, but I want to make sure that we specify the correct year bike that it came off.   Thanks!

Looks like my 76 550f but maybe the gas tank sides a lil different or mine just looks different cuz I replaced the cover

The CB550 F seat fits all models of the CB550F directly, 75,76,77 USA models.

It will fit other models of Cb 550 too, but the Gas Tank and grab bar need to swap along with the seat.  For the 77-78 550K models, there may be interference between tail light and the F model grab bar, but the tank will fit with the seat fine.
