1978 cb750f primary chain slack question.

Have my cases split and measured the primary chain slack at 68mm. Manual says to replace anything over 70mm. The odometer on the bike reads 25,000 miles. Should I replace them or will they be good for a while? Thanks!

You’re in there and within 5% of the wear limit........ I would change it.

+1. How often do you want to split the cases?

That's what i figured. I wasn't sure how long 2mm would take to stretch out. Thanks!
