CB550 Clutch Thrust washer dimensions.
« on: October 10, 2019, 07:50:34 PM »
If anyone has a CB550 clutch thrust washer sitting around, I'd appreciate it if you could please post the ID, OD and thickness. I'm hoping there is something close, or failing that will get one machined up.

Thanks

Chris

On the 750 it's dished, and I would not put a flat one in there.

get a genuine part!,i guess your talking about the heavy washer behind the entire assembly rides against the shaft?you need part # 90455-374-000,if you mean the thin shim inside the basket behind the circlip theres a coupla sizes depending on the end float you need,i see your in Australia where bouts?

I'm in Canberra.

I managed to get a part via ebay. For future reference the dimensions are 39mm OD, 25mm ID and thickness is just over 2mm on my analogue calipers. The washer is flat, not dished.

Cheers

Chris

so that main heavy thrust washer then?once assembled see how much end float the whole assembly has,try and rock it all in and out, heres where you need that thinner shim behind the circlip to be correct or a stack of them.
