Newbie in OH/NC with 400F looking for 550F
« on: October 24, 2019, 06:50:18 AM »
Hello-

I'm in Cincinnati and Black Mountain NC (Asheville area), with a 400F I've had for many decades, and a Transalp (yes, I know it's not a SOHC4!) I've had a few years.

I'm looking to upgrade the 400F to a 550F.

I am looking for a mint, low mile, original 550F- spread the word!

Thanks-

Paul Allen

Found one old pic on my phone, showing 400F and Transalp and my no-longer-owned 944 Turbo Cup car.

Welcome from NE MN,

No leads on a mint 550.  Though I will say they can keep pace on freeways.

Amazingly, one day later I found a 5800-mile '77 and bought it.

Congrats on that beauty! I got a '78 550K with only 5k mi on it last year but it wasn't that sharp looking until I spent the winter restoring it.
