I too would just keep it going here, you're on track now and you certainly wouldn't be the first to change ideas along the way, all you've done is allow yourself to define your goals and set out how you aim to reach those goals
You seem, to say the least, to be a determined sort of guy, not the type to give up and have the last post being.....' lost interest, how much is an unfinished project worth? '
Anyway, I reckon keep it going, seeing people finish a project, especially something a bit different, is inspiration for those that follow

And, don't forget, great Danes rock
