Blowing a fuse once hitting 60

This has seemed to have happened twice now. New wiring harness, just installed Rick's regulator/rectifier not sure what's going on. 1977 cb750f

What kind of fuse are you using, and is it in the old OEM fuse clip holder?

That looks not so much like sixty as the point where the voltage regulator is supposed to reduce the current to the  field coil in the alternator. I reckon that when the the contact moves, it shorts the supply down to earth. Look for a wiring fault around there.
