Anyone ever seen this old photo I found on the Internet? A woman riding a 750 in a mini skirt! Anyone know a woman who rides a 750? Just curious, we have any women members on here? What year 750 is it in the picture? The side cover is not visible.
I am thinking 1971, k1 maybe?

I ride CB750/4's but I'm in the UK. Trust me though, I don't wear mini skirts any more when riding 😊😊😊😊

My wife rides her 71 cb350 twin all the time but couldn't talk her into a 750. Right when my wife showed a strong interest in riding, my oldest son had a 73 cb750 for sale however it was too big/heavy for her and didn't feel it would make a good 1st bike for her. Maybe some day but not yet.

I bought a lowered cb400F, the lady that owned it wanted to ride a bike rather than ride on the back of one. The put high dollar shocks on the back and slid the triple trees up an inch. She reportedly rode it up Pikes Peak.
I put it back to stock but kept the shocks in case my wife decides she wants to ride again. She had a cb500 K2 in the 70's. She does like the seat height of a Honda Rebel.

I bought an original owner Kaw 350 triple that still had the lady owners name on it. She's still a character and unfortunately her boys got to ride the bike also then it was stored badly so it wasn't minty.

Looks like a K2 to me.
My first wife rode to Missouri with me after I painted the cylinders black on my K2 during the winter of '73 (following the wreck that wiped the first Windjammer off the bike and took some engine fins with it). The engine ran so hot from that alteration that the oil cap burned a permanent 'smile' inside her right thigh. She wore pants so tight in those days that she didn't notice it was burning her leg for 300 miles on the way home. She was pissed at me from that day forward because it showed when she wore her [typical] barely-there miniskirts and dresses. Getting her on and off the bike (in those) in public was...ummm...tricky. But, she was a 'show girl'.

I still don't miss her...

What paint did you use?

I've read old studies on radiators, heat exchangers,
and stoves having increased thermal transfer efficiencies
after correct application of proper black paints.

The old brass/copper radiator/heat exchangers were all painted with a gasoline reduced
black paint by local radiator shops. The stove black type paint was applied to effectively increase the surface area of the smooth copper/brass surfaces. Or so they used to say...

Now we're into the light weight aluminum stuff with lower thermal coefficients and not to mention modern antifreeze mix ratios further reducing such.

I like show girls too...Married the girl next door though....😜

them show girls, of course, look great...but are usually #$%*es. This topic (heat dispersion) is almost as notorious as oil. If aluminum was black, that would probably be ideal. Aluminum needs to have air flowing over it...and thick paint of any color ain't gonna help.

In those days, you could spray any paint from a can so long as it was lacquer or enamel. The stuff I used was lacquer because it is thinner. Honda's OEM paint on the engines was also lacquer (and you could buy it in a spray can back then to match up on engines). I only sprayed the cylinder fins, but it raised the oil temps more than 20 degrees by my measurement in the tank on a 90+ degree summer (Midwest) day. I have long used the oil cap as my 'touch monitor' when riding, to test engine temps: during that trip I could not touch it, it got so hot.
