For me, it started in the early/mid '60s, at the Santa Barbara County fair. The local boat shop, Speed Marine, had a display of shiny new Hondas; I fell in lust at first sight of the Super 90. ;D

i dont go back that far and no honda dealers in israel back at the time :)

first one that did my head was in 1972, a overseas tourist with a UK plate 750 pulled into our condominium parking lot with a metal flake silver painted tank.  Was so totally out of this world, looked huge and glam. I was 10 yr old back at the time, that bike is still stuck in my head.

I'm sure there's many that remember Russ Collins.  I bought a lot of stuff back in the 70's from RC Engineering to try and beat one of my buddies that bought a Kawasaki 900.  I never raced him with this bike, but had a pretty fast RC 1000 big block motored CB750.  Now I just tool around on a RoadStar, no more going that fast.
