New member from Maine
« on: May 27, 2020, 06:18:31 PM »
Hello all!

Thought I would join the forum and tap into some knowledge. I have two bikes; 1976 CB550F Supersport and a 1978 Hawk CD400T. These forums are typically a wealth of information.  Hopefully I can make some contributions as well.

Thank you for the suggestion, I am part of that forum.  Very helpful when I rebuilt the top end and carbs.

Howdy 550Fss
Where in Maine are you? I lived in E Eddington from 61-64 as a kid while dad was service manager at Sears in Bangor. We moved back to southern NH after that. Spent a lot time camping on the shore as a kid too. My mom was born on Vinelhaven. I rode up to Katadin in 1975 on my new K5 Planet Blue to hike the mtn with my girlfriend.
Nice 550 you have. Fun light bikes.
