Hi all

according to the CB500 model guide on this site the K2 from 1973 was the last cb500

I have been on various European sites and groups (mainly in italy where the 500 has a cult following) and it seems that in Europe the K2 was sold up until 1974.
After 1975 a K3 model was introduced with frame numbers CB500K 10.....   which apparently was produced until 1978 and sold through 1979 (sometimes they refer to this one simply as K).


on the other hand i was told that in parts of Europe like Italy very very few 550 were sold as it was not imported.

Can someone shed some light on this ?

In UK the K1 500 was supplied up until 1975 then the 500F till 77 when we got the 550 K3. We never had 500K2 nor a 550 before the K3 nor did we get the 500K3 which was a 550 with 500 cylinders
