Oh 100% agree. I am just making note of what I have and what I dont. I am not spending any cash (other than the Clymer manual) on it until I get the title stuff worked out.

Forget the Clymer, download the genuine one, if its not on here go to the UK site anf look in alladdins cave
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!

Plus 1 on that. I have the Clymers but soon found that it was only good for limited info. The Honda shop manual and this forum is what you need.

I've bought several bikes with no title...no problem!  Get a bonded title, it's basically an insurance policy in case the original owner comes back into the picture. Look here...

BTW - saw your other thread, that is not the correct speedo so it does not have 58K miles.
