CB550K4 Tank & Seat
« on: August 03, 2020, 05:13:00 PM »
Hey brothers (maybe some sisters too, you never know).

I’m looking for a tank and seat to fit a K4. Doesn’t need to be K4 specifically, and I’m not fussed if the items aren’t in great condition as long as they’re completely functional.

The project bike I bought has a rusted out filler mouth in the tank and the seat, although at first glance looked correct, isn’t off of this bike.

I don’t really want to start chopping bits off the frame, to make another tank and seat fit, as it’s straight.

Who has what? Let me know!

Oh yeah! And a fork leg! Right hand side. The one I have is cracked.

In case that fork was on the bike I recommend you start leveling the frame and measure everything carefully to ensure you are not dealing with a bent frame.

I think it’s actually the wrong axle, and/or over tightening that’s caused it.

Big thank you to jonda500 for the tanks and seats! Much appreciated!

Can’t decide which tank to run now. Decisions decisions.
