Swingarm lube
« on: August 04, 2020, 12:06:39 PM »
Just picked up some Moly-Graph made by Sta-Lube (SL3330) from Napa to use on my swingarm. Saw another post saying that lithium based moly was the way to go for this application. This has graphite in it (lithium base), making sure that the graphite wouldn’t be a problem.

Follow up question for the neck bearings belray’s waterproof should be good right?

Standard hmp grease is all you need just pumped in regularly (max 1000miles)
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Does anyone have a good resource for the correct fitting for the grease nipple? For a cb400f.

Princess Auto (Canadian "Harbor Freight") has Zerk fittings. If you take out the existing one you may be able to find one with matching threads, I think it threads in rather than push-in.
