Have just started to replace a wiring harness, and having taken apart the left handlebar control a small brass colored spring about 3/16 - 1/4 inch long fell out. I have the spring but cannot see a spot for it. There is also a small C shaped conductor that goes into the white plastic piece the turn signal lever moves but as that also fell out I can't tell if it goes into the white plastic piece in a concave or convex orientation. Anyone have any idea?

I think a ball goes on the spring, which sits in a hole , holds switch in position between left and right.
The contact should have 2 shiny spots where it makes contact, sliding in place,,
Good Luck and Welcome..
